Rules and requirements

What does it take to participate in a trackday?

Street driver for trackday participant

To participate in a trackday, the requirements are minimal and you don't even need to own a motorcycle. Here's what you need to get started:

Driver's license:
It is not necessary to have acquired a motorcycle card to participate in trackdays.

Own
motorcycle: All types of motorcycles are welcome at a trackday. While "sports bikes" are the most common type, you will also see naked bikes, touring bikes, off-roaders and more. It doesn't matter if your bike is taxed or untaxed.

Street bike
:If you arrive on a regular street bike, it should primarily be in good technical condition. This means no leaks, everything must be fastened, brakes and pads, tires must be in order, etc. Mirrors and lights should be covered or removed.

Track racer:
It is recommended to secure your track racer for both your own and your fellow racers' safety. Focus on the oil filter, oil plug, drain plug, brake calipers and the installation of engine protection to prevent possible leaks from the engine in the event of a crash. The coolant should be replaced with distilled water.

Rent a motorcycle:
If you have a burning desire to try a trackday but don't have the means to own a motorcycle yet, you can actually rent one. Our partner offers just that. Further information can be found at our rental racing partner.here
