Arrival
A typical trackday starts with setting up your bike and gear in one of the track's pit garages or in your own area in the paddock. If you are located in the paddock, you often bring your own racing tent or similar.
Registration
Next, there is registration, which takes place in the track's office tower.
Here you go up and fill out a registration form and choose which group you would like to start in.
If you have not brought your own transponder (laptimings device), you will be lent one here that you place on your motorcycle.
Technical control
Before you are ready to get out on the track and give it gas, you must have your motorcycle approved by our technical control, which checks that brakes, steering gear, etc. are working properly.
Driver's meeting
We start the day with a mandatory driver's meeting for all participants.
The meeting consists of information both inside and outside the track and gives new participants the opportunity to put faces to their instructors throughout the day and ask further questions before we start. Duration is approximately 15-20 minutes.
Ready to race
Each group will typically run 6 sessions of 15-20 minutes during the day, approximately 1 hour apart. At some events, there will also be the opportunity to try your hand at a 6 - 8 lap Sprint Race, where your lap time up to is considered a qualification and determines which race and starting position you end up with.
Teamwork
After a hard day on the battlefield, we all gather for a feast in the best Viking style with modern mead and meat on the grill. Here you will have the opportunity to get a little closer to each other and get to know your fellow racers a little better.
There is always a lot of experience, good advice and a good game of robbery stories around the corners. Big smiles and high spirits!
