Privacy policy

1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 When you contact or interact with us, Valhalla Racing ApS as data controller processes various personal data about you.

1.2 In this privacy policy you can read about how we process information about you. This privacy policy applies to our collection and processing of personal data when you contact us and when we receive information about you from third parties.

2 INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE WHEN COMMUNICATING WITH US

2.1 When you contact us, for example by email, your inquiry will sometimes contain personal data, such as contact information, information about your affiliation with a particular company or other personal data that you may provide us with. We process this information in order to process and respond to your inquiry. Similarly, we may use your contact information when we need to invoice a company that you represent.

2.2 Our legal basis for processing the above personal data is the pursuit of our legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is that we must be able to process your personal data in order to answer your inquiry, register you as a customer or send invoices or material to you or the company you represent. Our legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

2.3 If an agreement has been entered into with you personally, our legal basis for processing your personal data will be our contractual basis, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

2.4 As a starting point, we process personal data for as long as there is an existing customer relationship between you or the company you represent and us, and thereafter for up to 6 years to comply with accounting legal requirements.

3 INFORMATION ABOUT YOU RECEIVED FROM THIRD PARTIES

3.1 Sometimes we may receive personal data about you from third parties, such as your employer or your colleagues. This may include your contact details and information about your relationship with your employer. Our legal basis for processing data in this context is the pursuit of our legitimate interest in being able to contact you as a contact person for the company you represent. This is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

3.2 The period of time for which we store information we receive from third parties normally depends on the agreement we have entered into with the third party in question. See section 2.4 above.

4 BENEFICIARIES OR CATEGORIES OF BENEFICIARIES

4.1 As a general rule, we do not disclose personal data covered by this personal data policy to third parties without your consent, unless we are required to do so by law or if this is necessary to pursue the purposes described above. Our legal basis for such disclosure is then the same as described above in relation to our own processing.

4.2 In a number of cases, we entrust the processing of your personal data to our data processors.

This is the case, for example, when we have our data hosted by an external provider.
